Hi send photo or info for the web site. coming events, sheep or fleece you have for sale anything. Thanks

The ISSBA summer meeting and picnic was called to order by President Mary Ann Cripe on June 24th at the home of Pat and Nancy deCapraiis in Morgantown.

Past minutes were read and corrected to read that Shetland sheep must be on the premises at the ISF by 8am on August 13th.  The treasurer’s report was read and approved.  The present balance is $2169.31  with income of $13 and expenses of $50.19.

The proposed amendments to the By-laws and Constitution were passed by a unanimous vote of the attendees.

It was recommended that an additional amendment be made to include a yearly internal audit of the treasurer’s books by a committee of three people.

New Business:  Joe requests that ISF exhibitors send him tag numbers and birthdates so he can have the classes split before August 13th.  He will check registration papers from 9am to 11am on the 13th.

We will request shredded bark for the ring surface for the Columbus show.  No health papers will be needed except for out of state sheep.

Open jobs include running the sale area and the wool show.  Theresa Gygi will run the wool show.  If no one steps forward to run the sale area we will not have a separate sale area and people will need to do their own sales from their pens.

Gail has had flyers for the Columbus show printed and will have them available at the ISF at the pens and in the wool room.  It was approved to pay Gail for the flyers.  Also approved to have Becky pay the insurance bill and the facility rental for Columbus.

We will look into other venues for our ISSBA show for late September or early October.

Reminder of AGM/AAJS activities.

Gail said the NASSA database may be expanded into phase 3 with membership renewals and online registration.

A motion was made and approved for ISSBA to be a diamond sponsor for NAILE Shetland show at $100.  And to sponsor the AAJS  for $40.

Next meeting will be August 14th at 10am at the ISF.

The fall meeting will be October 13th at Joe and Nyla’s with lunch at 12:30 and the meeting afterward.
